Seed vigor is one of the essential contents agricultural research. The decline seed described as an inevitable process. Recent studies have shown that oxidative damage caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS) main reason for destruction various chemicals in seeds and eventually evolves into death. traditional tests, such germination test TTC staining, are commonly used to assess vigor. However, these methods often need a large number experimental samples, which will bring waste resources. At present, many new fast nondestructive seeds, vibrational spectroscopic techniques, been achieved convincing results. This paper aimed at analyzing microchanges seed-vigor decline, summarizing performance current methods, hoping provide idea testing single combining physiological alterations with chemometrics algorithms.
